See how your household stacks up against families across the country, without the daily-login pressure, the public scoreboards, or any of the things that turn family apps into homework. Opt-in only. Team names, not real names. Pure recognition for the rhythm you're already keeping.
Most family apps treat your weekly grind like homework: daily streaks, shame-toned reminders, leaderboards that punish you for a Saturday off. We wanted the opposite, a quiet acknowledgement that you showed up this month. The household equivalent of a coach saying 'good work this week,' not a billboard.
Think of it like the trivia screens at Buffalo Wild Wings: engaging, low-stakes, fun to glance at. Not a Spartan race. Households earn points for the actual work they're already doing (chores, routines, meds, meal plans, badges), with a four-week rolling window so a bad week doesn't torpedo your ranking.
Your household is invisible to the leaderboard until you choose to join. When you do, you pick a team name (not your real family name) and a city (no precise address). Want out? Flip the toggle, you're gone.
Updated every ten minutes from real household activity in the last four weeks. Only opted-in households appear.
A chore finished on or before its due day scores 5 points. The system rewards rhythm, but late chores still count for 2 points each, because finishing late beats not finishing.
Every day with at least one chore completion counts (8 points per day, up to 28). A bad week doesn't reset your rolling 4-week window.
Finish a routine top to bottom: morning, bedtime, Sunday reset. The whole sequence counts as one win.
A dose logged at scheduled time. The medicine cabinet doesn't care about heroics, it cares about consistency.
Plan a meal, cook it, tap "Mark cooked" on the Meals page. Following through on dinner counts.
A "running late" or a "soccer ran long, kid is fine" on a calendar event. Capped per period so it can't be farmed.
Allowance deposits + family-savings contributions. Money conversations are quietly counted as family coordination.
Calendar events created with two or more people on them. Planning that involves the family counts; a solo reminder doesn't.
Items added to the pantry over the 4-week window. The opposite of standing at the grocery store trying to remember.
Every badge earned by any household member counts for 10 points. Catalog grows as more events are added.
Touch 4+ categories in the 4-week window for 1.25×. Touch 6+ for 1.5×. Categories: chores, badges, meds, routines, comments, money, pantry. Rewards using the whole household OS, not farming one number.

over a 4-week rolling windowWe deliberately avoid raw counts of anything. Counting "chores completed" rewards households where one person grinds; the per-member-average term means a real family of four can’t be lapped by a single power-user logging 100 fake chores. The badge multiplier recognizes milestones. The diversity multiplier rewards using NestBoard’s full surface area, not just one feature.
The 47th "fold the laundry" in one day doesn't score. Each metric has a sane ceiling per person, per day.
Create a chore and complete it 8 seconds later? That doesn't count. The system recognizes when someone's gaming the create-and-clear loop.
A family of five isn't 2.5× more virtuous than a family of two. Scores are normalized so a small household competes fairly with a big one.
A bad week (sick kid, work trip, vacation) doesn't torpedo your ranking. The score smooths over recent weeks instead of resetting on Mondays.
Households pick what they're called on the leaderboard. "The Sundowners," "Team Crayon Box," "Pancake Squadron." Never your real surname, ever.
Individual members show up as "John on Team Alpha." Common-name volume is the privacy. Last names are a hard line.
"Orlando, FL" tells the leaderboard where you are. No address, no ZIP, no neighborhood.
Households are invisible to the leaderboard until you flip the toggle. No surprises, no involuntary participation.
Flip the toggle back off, your row drops off the leaderboard immediately. Your data stays yours.
The leaderboard is open. Reserve your team name now. Early movers are the first names ranked when households start joining. 2-week trial, no card required.
